Performing Arts

Performing Arts has been an integral part of the Fort Collins High School landscape for over 100 years, and while we proudly carry that tradition in our hearts, we move forward each season in the bright spirit of discovery.

Each season FCHS produces three full-length shows, performing in both the 723 seat McNeal Performing Arts Center with its professional fly-system and the intimate 90 seat Black Box Theater.

In the classroom, FCHS houses six choirs, three levels of acting classes, technical theater training, four bands, four orchestras, numerous chamber music ensembles, AP Music Theory, film study, piano classes, guitar classes, and a host of other performing arts courses. These opportunities give our students every opportunity to create and perform and attend the nation's most coveted performing arts universities.
