Personal & Social Resources

FCHS students and/or parents are invited to work with their assigned FCHS counselor as a starting point for social/emotional or academic concerns. At FCHS we have two Mental Health Specialists.

Heather & Jane work with Fort Collins High School students in need of support around all types of issues. They can also assist in referring students and families to other community resources. If you are looking for a guide to outside service providers or local therapists, please visit this resource* that offers treatment philosophy and contact information.

Aaron supports students at FCHS through prevention education, intervention and counseling in the area of drug and alcohol use. He provides a safe, non-judgmental space where students can be heard, respected and supported. His office is located in the Student Services area. In addition, Aaron supports students experiencing transitional housing situations or homelessness by connecting them to resources to meet their immediate needs.
