New & Transferring Students
How to register at Fort Collins High School
Students transferring from another PSD School or returning to PSD: Please contact our Registrar, Julie Stajduhar at (970) 488-8107 or email@example.com to schedule an appointment. New student registration is by appointment only.
Students new to the District and have never been enrolled in Poudre School District: PSD online registration is the preferred way for new students to register. See below if you are unable to use the PSD online registration.
The following Documentation is needed:
Verification of residence in the FCHS attendance area (lease or land based utility bill)
Birth certificate or passport
Current immunization record
Copy of photo ID of the parent or guardian registering student
Transcript of high school grades from the previous school
Checkout/withdrawal grades from your previous school if you are transferring mid-year
Any legal guardianship documents
International students need a student VISA, if you are in possession of one
Students receiving Special Education Services need a copy of their current IEP/504 for proper class placement
For families that are unable to use the online registration portal: Please have the Enrollment Packet filled out prior to your registration appointment and bring the required documents. You can email the forms to firstname.lastname@example.org to expedite your registration.
Course Registration for 2022-23 School Year
Course selection for the 22-23 school year has begun! Students should have received the presentation and course selection with their assigned appointment time in their current English class. If you did not receive either of these, please stop by the Counseling office to get your sheet and appointment time. The course selection sheets are located in the documents section of this page along with the PowerPoint presentations. Please reach out to your assigned Counselor with any questions or concerns.
School of Choice Information
If you do not live in the Fort Collins High School attendance area, but would like to attend, you may apply for ‘School of Choice’. First Round Applications are due in January prior to the year you would like to attend. Applications received after January will go on our waitlist and be admitted on a space available basis. Applications must be submitted online on the District website. If accepted, you will be notified and we will set up a registration appointment.
