What is PaCE?
PaCE is a program where students can receive elective credit for spending time in the community on shadows, volunteering, internships, apprenticeships, and work experiences.
What is the Buddy Program?
Buddies travel to an elementary school to work one on one with an elementary aged student. High School students, Buddies, are matched to elementary aged children according to interests, strengths and availability.
Who is it for?
Sophomores: shadows and volunteering
Juniors and Seniors: shadows, volunteering, internships, apprenticeships, work experiences
What are the Prerequisites?
- Critical Skills Completed
- Other Business classes are recommended, but not required
- Good Attendance
- GPA of 2.0 or above
- College & Non college-bound students are encouraged to join
Why do it?
EARN Elective Credit; Maximum of 40 credits Earned by Hours Spent in the Community and Required Seminars
