FCHS strives to meet the needs of all learners including our Gifted and Talented students. Parents of Gifted and Talented students can sign up to receive emails from PSD by specifying that they would like to be part of the GT ListServe from the PSD Gifted and Talented website*. The National Association for Gifted Children* as well as the Colorado Association of Gifted and Talented* can also serve as resources for parents and students.
FCHS GT students visited the Capitol in Denver on February 20, 2014 and participated in the 2014 Legislative Day. For pictures and more information click here.
All students that are identified as Gifted and Talented will have an Advanced Learning Plan. The resources below can assist families in the creation of this plan.
The Honors Enrichment Seminar is for selected students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year. The seminar is open to students from FCHS identified as Gifted and Talented. It is driven by each student’s individual passion in their specific field of original research and pursuits. Please review the Honors Academy Flyer.pdf for more information.
