Born and raised in Fort Collins, I graduated from FCHS in 2014 and moved to Durango to play for Fort Lewis College men's soccer program.  Despite skiing, backpacking, climbing, mountaineering, fishing, mountain biking, and playing collegiate soccer, I eared a BA in mathematics and a secondary teaching license 5 years later.  I returned to Fort Collins to fill a long-term sub position at Lesher middle school, before coming home to FCHS.

When I'm not teaching I'm completing a Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Technician degree through Colorado Mountain College, skiing and biking with my dog, fly-fishing, hiking, or reading books about math.

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men and women to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.” - Antoine de Saint Exupery
