I grew up outside of Dallas and attended the University of North Texas.  I quickly made my way to Colorado to pursue my Master's in Literature at CSU.  Fort Collins has become my home.  I believe that it only takes one teacher to instill in a student self-confidence and the desire to grow academically, socially, and personally. At Fort Collins High School, all teachers are invested in this belief. I know all students can learn at high levels. This is my ninth year in Poudre School District, and my goals as a teacher are to create life-long learners who value diversity, literacy, and empathy.

"Be silly. Be honest. Be kind." --- Ralph Waldo Emerson
