We are excited for a great 2024 Volleyball season!

Spring and Summer Training Opportunities:

Preseason calendars are linked here. These will continue to be updated as we can.  Open gyms until May 22nd are just for current students...incoming freshmen may join us after the 22nd!  All open gyms in April/May are weather-dependent. Any player interested in trying out is welcome!  If the weather is bad, spring sports will come inside, and we will not have the gym. We will update the schedule above if anything changes. Please check it for time, date, and/or location changes.

Tryout Information:

Tryouts will begin on August 12th.... The exact times are TBD as we await some of our teaching schedules/meetings, etc.  Teams will be announced on Wednesday the 14th.  We will keep around 40 girls...10 per level.  Tryouts and the cut process are stressful for everyone.  We will do our best to evaluate every kid fairly and make the best combination of teams based on skill, attitude, effort, coachability, citizenship, grades, etc.  We talk to every kid about whether or not they make a team.  We appreciate and know they are taking a chance to put themselves out there!

To try out, everyone MUST have an orange card.  Most people are familiar with the process, but you must fill out paperwork and have a current physical. Here is the registration website

https://fch.psdschools.org/athletics/athletic-registration

This is all done online and through the athletic office.  If you have questions, please reach out to Nicole Dahelside. Her contact information is (970-488-8011), ndahlseide@psdschools.org .

Sincerely,

Lindsey Blahuvietz and the FCHS Volleyball Coaches
