Where Excellence is Expected
Fine Arts

With theater, art, and music, FCHS places an emphasis on the importance of the fine arts in our society. The musical Mary Poppins will run March 2, 3 and 4 in the McNeal Performing Arts Center at FCHS.

Academics

Fort Collins High School offers a wide variety of academic classes for every stage of your student’s growth and interests. Author Jes Dory presented to Language Arts in the LTC.She discussed her latest novel, Isle, and her path and success as a teen fantasy genre writer.

Athletics

We are Home of the Champions. Coaches honored senior student athletes during their college commitment ceremony in LTC.

Advanced Placement

The Advanced Placement program has twenty-one college courses ranging from AP Biology to AP United States History. Our students took over 650 AP College Board exams this spring.

Tradition

The annual Cinderella Project had over 1000 dresses donated from the community this year. Our young ladies were able to find their dream prom dress for $20 or less thanks to the hard work of many people and the Dora Grace Bridal store.

Diversity/Culture

FCHS has a diverse student population. We believe that our differences broaden our perspective and make us stronger.

Achievements

Congratulations to our FCHS Science Bowl team who competed at Colorado Regionals. Daniel Scher, Nathan Sima, Larry Chen, Henry Cafaro and Suhaas Narayanan will compete at Nationals in Washington, D.C. at the end of April.
