NCAA Information for Student Athletes
A student-athlete who is planning to play sports at a Division I or Division II College or University needs to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Additional information can be found on the NCAA Student-Athlete Resource Website.
Course Requirements & Eligibility
Students planning on participating in NCAA sports at a Division I or II college must meet the requirements for the desired Division and it is the student's responsibility to be aware of those requirements. It is the responsibility of the student-athlete to ensure that they are taking classes that are approved by the NCAA Clearinghouse. Not all Fort Collins High School classes count as NCAA core courses. Please log on to NCAA Course Listing (NCAA HS Code=060590 for Fort Collins HS) to view the latest classes which are NCAA eligible. Only courses that satisfy the NCAA definition of a core course can be used to calculate your NCAA GPA. No special values are allowed for '+' or '-' grades. If a class is not listed, it has not been approved. For course descriptions, please refer to the FCHS Course Catalog. The Fort Collins High School list of non-approved classes is also available on the FCHS Student Services website.
