Hello, Lambkins! My name is Anne-Marie Jacobs, and I am excited for another year at Fort Collins High School. Prior to teaching here, I graduated from CSU with multiple majors in Photography, Graphic Design and Spanish. Following graduation, I was an industry graphic designer for 10 year and then (before covid) decided to transition to teaching in 2020. It was over covid that I got my Masters from CSU in Secondary Education.
Here at FCHS, I am the yearbook advisor, visual art teacher, and CTE multimedia and graphic design instructor. I teach 2D Design, Digital Media A, FRCC Photoshop, FRCC Illustrator, FRCC Intro to Visual Communications, Integrated Art, and InDesign A/B (aka Yearbook). I love being able to bring my professional industry experience into the classroom and give students real world experience of what it's like to create and publish their work for clients in not only our FCHS student and staff community but the wider NOCO community as well. I feel welcomed and highly valued by the FCHS community, and I hope you do as well.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of you who are new to my classes this year and building on relationships with those of you I already know.
