Before becoming Assistant Principal at Fort Collins High School, Kaitlin Miles served as the Director of Vocal Music at Fort Collins High School for 16 years and as the Dean of Students for 3 years.  Under her direction, the FCHS choirs consistently received Superior ratings at festivals, performed at the CMEA Music Educators Conference multiple times, and numerous students were selected annually to participate in the Colorado All-State Choirs.  Additionally, her students traveled both nationally and internationally, previously performing in locations such as New York City, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Australia.  Originally from Fort Collins, Kaitlin received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Northern Colorado, graduating magna cum laude in the spring of 2007, and her Master's Degree in Education and Human Resources from Colorado State University in 2022.  In addition to her duties as Assistant Principal at Fort Collins High School, Kaitlin also serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Colorado All-State Choirs. 

Mrs. Miles currently resides in Fort Collins with her husband, Shane, and sons Landon (10) and Sawyer (6).
