Schedule a Time for Us to Meet
My role at Fort Collins High School is to support students as they navigate critical educational, personal, and social milestones. I focus on a strengths-centered approach to supporting kids to develop strategies for success. This includes topics are related to academic planning, personal wellness, stress management, and developing healthy coping strategies as they navigate their futures.
My role this year at Collins is to provide caseload support to our 9th grade students (last name 'N-Z'), a small group of seniors who are in their final year of our Honors Program, and/or students enrolled in the our English Learners Program. I support students in areas related to course selection, schedule planning, regulation strategies, and referrals to resources. I also support students through select classroom guidance topics in Lambkin Way and English Learning Development classes. In addition to these student related roles, I serve as the program manger, providing administrative support, for the FCHS and Bridges EARSS grant we were recently awarded from CDE.
This my third year at Collins. In my first role I served as one of the Drug and Alcohol Counselors in the district through the support of the Colorado School Health Professional Grant.
My personal hobbies include cooking, gardening, swimming, biking, and spending time with my family in the outdoors!
